Learning to speak Australian is one of the many trials faced by an Italian journalist who emigrates Down Under.
Nino Culotta is an Italian immigrant sports journalist, newly arrived in Australia. He struggles to find employment, the only opportunity being as a builder’s labourer. At first , Nino cannot comprehend the culture in this new and unfamiliar land, but eventually he finds mate-ship and even romance.
